Very important: http://www.december.com/unix/tutor/filesystem.html
Check it out, look carefully in the directory structure and if you have passed Mission8, then this will be no problem.

Think carefully where exactly to put the code and check again the directory structure, very important for this mission :)

So i know the command for changing directories, however I am receiving the same error as I did in level 8, the one that mentions how the commands are limited, how do I bypass this?

Code: Select all
Hi, <--#exec cmd="ls"-->!

Your name contains 34 characters.

A little different tack suggested for those having difficulty:

Instead of playing around with the mission webpage itself, open a linux shell and use DelKitten's hint way back on page three to find a way to navigate around your directories. Once you figure out the correct syntax to get to the directory you want, the light will go on.

Elevators don't just move in one direction either, but elevators can't do both at the same time. Just push the button for the floor you want...you'll get there.

Really have to read and then reread the problem.

The answer is practically given away on page 8, but it is a link to a page on this site, so basically they are telling you how to do it!!

It really is very easy!
