if u are actually doing it right and it not working, go back to mission 5 page without hitting back button or refresh. if u had did it the wrong way then just hit back it dont seem to work when u do it right after that. just go to the main site and get back to the challange the long way. it seems hitting back or refresh after u did it wrong doesnt actually completely refresh the page.

ok. i get how to do this one and i got it to work.

but i am not sure why it works. i looked up a lot of info on javascript

what i don't get is why it works like it does.

will this segment be on every single web page that uses similar type scripting?

Ok This was a little difficult, but after searching the forums, then google for a couple of different queries I found 1 site that will help. You should look for how to determine form numbers and using javascript. I thought this was a good exercise in learning javascript.

You went about it the right way...if you are unsure of what to do, researching the forums and using google certainly helps and the key is that you learned something.

Ok so I just completed mission 4 and 5, but I don't think I did it the right way (and I have the feeling basic mission 4 + 5 might be bugged). I finished both the missions on exactly the same way (tried it with firebug and also with notepad, same result obviously). I did EXACTLY the same for mission 5, and again, a blank page with the password in the upper left cornor. I don't get what happened and why my browser is actually giving me the password ?

Some help would be appreciated, either in this topic or in a PM.

If you completed them then you must have done something right. Keep in mind that there is usually more than one way to finish these. Try doing some research to find out why certain exploits work and what makes some sites vulnerable. Learning is the goal
