Just an idea, but there are plenty more viable solutions to scripting out there then just Perl and Python. I personally like Ruby, and there's AppleScript, VBScript, ECMAScript (which is JavaScript and JScript), there's Windows WScript and CScript hosts, BASH, TCL/TK, Scheme, Batch, CSH, GREP, AWK, SED, and numerous other dynamic languages (so many I can't think of them all). So my idea is, let's change this topic's name to "Dynamic/Scripting Languages". Sound good? I just think that we would help more people and better centralize the topic of scripting if we did change it to that.

I merged PHP with Perl/Python and called it Interpreted Languages.
If there is strong support for adding another language or if the forum fills up and I see a need to split out one of the languages I'll do so.
