Any one tried referrer spoofing and succeeded ? I tried but have not been able to bypass the referrer check.

Yea, i have succeeded with referrer spoofing, another alternative beside kavascript inkection.

Does anybody know WHY basic mission 5 does not work in Firefox?
I tried it in IE, (exact same injection as that I used of Firefox) and it worked perfectly.
Don't know why it doesn't work in FF though. . .

I just tried it using Firefox/3.0.5 and it worked for me.

5 is a little tricky....You dont have to use notepad...When you inject the js and hit enter it wont do anything.....So dont automatically think it didnt work......After you hit enter just hit send password.....Hope this is not to close to spoiling.... oh yeah dont forget js must contain new email

It's quite easy to do, YES, javascript is a must know for this one. When you do a javascript injection you do it straight through the URL bar, no need to go into notepad, as you'd be writing EXTRA code to the document. Think of what you did in challenge 4, how did you get the password from sam? Google Javascript injections for forms (hope that doesn't spoil) and you should be squared away.

i wouldn't say that "JavaScript is a must know" there is definitely a handful of spoofing add-ons for firefox and of course window applications that can do the work for you as well however with that being said, i would say that learning JavaScript especially injections wouldn't be a bad idea. Google will certainly be your friend for this but for those to lazy, here.
