Welcome noobs

Hello and welcome to hackthissite's forum. This part of the forum is just for you noobs. Here you can introduce yourself to everyone and ask questions.
If you want to know what languages you should learn first i'll post them here. You will need to learn the basics of: html, javascript, php, perl and c++. Most of these can be found at http://www.w3schools.com . If you have any other questions then feel free to ask we will be more than happy to try and help. But before you do please try look for it first to make sure it hasnt been asked a hundred times. Also there is a strict policy on asking about ilegal hacking. If you ask then someone will slap the disclaimer on it and youl learn that its illegal.

Allow me to extend on your topic. I'll give these languages a brief description on what they're used for.

HTML - HyperText Markup Language, Used for creating websites
CSS - Cascading Style Sheets, used for the design on websites
JavaScript - Used for creating dynamic web pages (client sided scripting)
PHP - PHP: Hypertext Preprocessor, a server scripting language
SQL: - Structured Query Language, used for managing and interacting with databases (eg: MySQL, Oracle, Sybase, etc)
Perl - Another server scripting language, but I heard somewhere that is capable of doing slightly more things than PHP can.

One other thing. If you ask for help off us think of this:
If you think it is illegal then dont ask.
Please its such an obvious thing but people still do this. And dont try and cover it up with a story, we have heard them all.

I would like to add this:
Still, don't be afraid of asking questions!
Continue to ask questions about how to protect yourself, protect your network, protect your computer what kind of threats it exists (and where you can read more about them! :roll:

), how the hackers find security holes, how to hide them and cover up the security, what to think about when your making your ownwebsite, why a "true" hacker never would hack your computer just for the fun of it and so on.
Do not stop asking questions like these! Do ask even if it maybe is related to security!

But I think I speak of all of us when I say we are really tired about:

Hi guys! I heard your teh best. And this is my situatiun: My girlfriend broke up.. .. blahblah.. ..these guys hacked my.. ..so now I don't have an safe email.. ..life is totally destroyed.. ..*INSERT OTHER RUBBISH HERE*.. ..the dog died.. ..website hacked 4th time in a row now.. ..3 times on 24 hours.. ..house burned to the ground..

So now, can't you please tell me how to hack youtube/facebook/myspace/*ANY OTHER BIG AND FAMOUS WEBSITE* so I can delete their account so I finally can get revenge?

It was pretty fun to read in the beginning, but the charm of the novelty is far gone since long time ago.

This is only my very personal opinion, so anyone with moderator rights are able to remove this if they want to.

Asking questions is why the forums are here. But your stupid storys about alot of bullsh*t about being hacked. Its a big waste of time for all of us. So now you know what not to do so dont waste yours and our time.

I want to help as many beginners as I can, even if someone of us doesn't..

Most of my posts are from helping people and I want it to stay like that.
