Ok i know social engineering is illegal but out of curiosity how do you do it? How do you find people that are stupid enough to give you their password? Where do you start?

But it should be obvious that you should give away your password. Like we all see the sign in our emails saying dont give out your password. And is social engineering not the lazy version of a phishing scam?
