Just go to ubuntu's main page, and download the latest distro.. you burn it to a disc and you're golden.

Just look up ubuntu on google, its really simple.

i use ubuntu Ultimate Edition 1.8, all i know is that i have not yet in over 2 years of having ubuntu that i have not downloaded any virus protection, or spyware protection. right now i am learning a lot about ubuntu like the terminal and how u can use it to hack stuff. but what i like about ubuntu is that's it's free, and that i can download it and re-edit it to make it mine, i downloaded a thing that lets me make my own ubuntu using the latest software.

will anyways ubuntu for me is easier to use then windows, i was with windows for over 9 years, now i hate window, ubuntu is ever bit fun and useful to use. and it's easier to use, to right code, and anything that has to do with typing. i started with ubuntu 7.10 then upgraded to 8.04, and from there to Ultimate Edition 1.8. i can't wait for 1.9 witch is to be coming out real soon. ever body i would say that if you like having virus or spyware or anything that can harm your windows computer, then hell stay with windows, i bet you just love having to buy your protection, and then ever year buy it again, and again...
but if you are done with virus and spyware then go with ubuntu. if your a gamer then go with Ultimate Edition 1.8(the gamer edition).

my dad was sick of having to update his virus and spyware stuff, and we hated to keep sending are computers to are neighbor witch is the Internet tech for lakeside. will anyways. ever since me and my dad moved to ubuntu we have not had one virus or spyware.

reasons to have windows.

1. so u can kill your computer,
2.to keep buying your software, like protection software, and that type of stuff.(to wast money.)

reason to have ubuntu.
1.so your computer will last a lot longer,
2.you don't have to worry about virus or spyware. (ubuntu can't get virus or spyware.)
3.ever about ubuntu is free.
4.you can do what ever you want with ubuntu you can make any amount of Cd's and if your a a computer tech you can install it on costumers computers for a little money.
5. did i mention it's free and you don't have to worry about virus or spyware. yea i know it's cool.

will i got to go now and leard some code or some way of beatting real, mission 5

Its a toss up.. Theres a few pieces of software out there that let you do it, with varied results. I have two machines, one for Linux and one for WinXP.. You could dual boot (which is easily done with the ubuntu CD as well).. Or you could try finding something that would let you use Windows programs on Linux..

Heres one I found by searching google.

as it is i'm going to try and do a weird thing with my computers.......... there's the possibility of getting a good computer in a while for me, and i have a laptop, and am upgrading my computer, now, the idea is that i intranet them............

the new one will be a windows (for gaming) the upgraded one would be my linux (and therefore hacker set up) and laptop would be general use (however it is made for windows XP, or i'd convert it too, and get used to linux)............. is this just weird? or does it just seem that way too me.......... and if anyone can help me, please be my guest (i need to know how to get the computers set up in an intranet)
give me knowledge or give me death

I've also been thinking of trying out Linux. I have Windows XP and well...I killed my computer twice without knowing how. Like I thought it would be fine since....the "protection" would stop any viruses and such...but....yeah...didn't really work.

Okay. I will make a non-braised analogy on the three most common operating systems.

Windows - I am a level 2 engine, I am put into a decent Japanese car that saves the gas. I may be small but i save gas. I get you where you want to go, but people hate on me anyways because of if you screw and I crash, there's less chance that you'd live. I accept most kind of upgrades, but i'd need it too.

Linux - I am just an engine, as good as you want, you'd have to add the wheels, chairs, gas pipe, and billions of other things. However, I am not easy to put together, so people made a few version of me and called them distros. Yet you can put 5 wheels and 10 seats on me if you want, it's not easy, and most people are simply to lazy or don't know how. I am over popularized by street racer wannabes.

Mac - I am a level 3 engine, put into an European car, I am more stable, yet expensive as hell. People hate on me because most people can't afford me. I set the trend in design and usability. However most upgrades doesn't work on me, but i have most of what you need XD
