Hey guys, I'm new to hacking, just started, and i am facing a common problem. I can log in and click on basic missions but when it gets to a certain stage i get this error message : Your authentication hash has been invalidated. Please <a href="http://www.hackthissite.org/?logout">clear your hashes</a> and re-login.

For example, In basic mission four, i have found the password formula, created my text piece, edited everything and saved as HTML. When i click on HTML and re-send password i get that error message. No matter what i do, whether its deleting cookies manually or from ccleaner, logging in and out, nothing is working. I run on Windows vista 32 bit and i have Trend Micro Titanium security.

I also face a problem where it says "Sorry email is incorrect" from my resend password page. I do not know why nor do i want the answer, i will find out myself even though my email is correctly typed and positioned in the text box on notepad. I give you that info in case its helpful otherwise DON'T GIVE ME THE ANSWER.

Please don't post the obvious such as log in and out, delete cookies, because i don't want to wait ages for a reply that i have already done.

What are you using for an OS and browser? It's been awhile since I've done any missions so I can't recall if anything has changed recently... but a description of the environment of your problems might help.

I sometimes get this problem. It's a site bug. You will have to either manually clear your cookies, or just visit the logout URL to clear them. Then relogin. It's annoying, I know. I'm not sure what the cause might be. But I'll be sure to let someone know. Also, moved to comments and suggestions.

For a browser i use either Google chrome or Mozilla Firefox, each are fully updated. Yeh i thought at first it was a test so i spent a long time trying to fix it. Otherwise there is a second problem. I try a page, get error message, re- log in, go back to page and then get error message once again. Tis a vicious cycle. Thanks for the quick replies though, i see its an ongoing problem not just for me...
