Taweret: The Egyptian Goddess Demoness of Birth, Rebirth and the Northern Sky. In the Book of the Dead Taweret, the 'Lady of Magical Protection', was seen as a goddess who guided the dead into the afterlife.

Although hard to pronounce it's obscure enough to be cool, because most people tend to attribute rebirth to Isis and Osiris, where Taweret is less touted because she was a deity of the commoners whereas the more well known names in modern times are deities of the Pharaohs.

As for those asking "why?", it's merely to distinguish this iteration from other (failed) iterations of "Recode." Ie. BlueElephant refers to our prior PHP+MongoDB version, whereas Acheron refers to our G-WAN+NodeJS+MongoDB version, and so on.

Is this supposed to be pronounced like "Á-k-eron"? Because that means "straw" in Greek.
The correct pronunciation is "A-h-éron (-h- sounds like in -hero- or -how-)" & that's one
of the five rivers of the Greek underworld, the river of pain. Nowadays is called "Ahérontas".
