As you can see, my avatar (which I uploaded from my computer) is pretty fuzzy. Seems like a newb question, but I guess my answer to that would be, I am a newb. So I need help. Thanks.

Your 'question' lacks a question and a question mark. Possibly you should add those so I can help.

Thought it might be obvious >.> Or are you just being a smart ass?

In either case, my question is, "Why is my avatar blurry and how can I fix it?" (Not that I really care anymore, since I uploaded a new avatar which looks rather cool blurry, IMO. Makes it kind of "glowy".)

I'm guessing you took a fair sized image and uploaded it to be converted to a 70x70 image or whatever it is. Perhaps you should choose a smaller one.

And kind of. :? I could have guessed your question if I really wanted to, but I didn't.

Nah, I'm not that stupid. It was within the size-limits. Same with my new one.

The size limits are irrelevant to the current size.

Did you re-size it yourself to fit the size limits?

The first avatar I did, although it wasn't blurry until after uploading it, and this one I've seen in larger versions, so I guess someone else re-sized it (I just got it off Google Images), although it too was clear until I uploaded it.

I've seen that avatar in many places before. Maybe you could try to be creative and not copy other people? I, for one, have not seen some use The Lonely Island's "Boombox" video as an avy or sig before.
The glass is neither half-full nor half-empty; it's merely twice as big as it needs to be.
