Does anyone know any good books for Java? I really need to get the names of some. I've got a PHP an ASP and few HTML books but no Java. Can I get some help please?

I would recomend Java Programing From Problem Analysis to Program Design by D.S. Malik. I believe currently it is still in the third edition. My local college used it as out text book and it was very easy to follow. I certainly learned alot from it :D

My friend is using Java For Dummies and he says that its really easy to follow and teaches you a lot at the same time. I was amazed at what he wrote in a span of 2-3 days. If it worked for him it should be a good book.
