Binary Auditing

([msg=63663]see Binary Auditing[/msg])

I just wanted to share this: http://www.binary-auditing.com/

Download: http://www.binary-auditing.com/binary-auditing-training-package.zip
Password: fdcd2ff4c2180329053650f3075d39f4

It's not a book in the classical sense, but it's a very interesting read.

I'll warn you, so you dont think i'm trying to infect you with something nasty, my msse is reporting viruses. But i belived the author when he wrote:
The training package includes all necessary files to run a complete lecture for Binary Auditing and Reverse Code Engineering at university. All files are well sorted by topics and with increasing difficulty. You need Windows XP, Windows Vista or Windows 7 to use this training package. The training package does NOT include runnable viruses

I ran it on my pc and i still belive him :) But i guess theres nothing else to do but, download it, audit it in a sandbox and find out :)

Hi,
I just tested it with unzip, and it worked like a charm.

Code: Select all
unzip -P fdcd2ff4c2180329053650f3075d39f4 binary-auditing-training-package.zip

Thank you so much, but my problem is not with this file, but with another like this.

In my file the password is not the hex strings, but the text converted from hex to ascii, and in the password there are some non printable ASCII control characters, and so i need to unzip it with a binary password, not text password, do you know how to do it???

The file is this http://pastebin.com/2F6vGa4P

The first archive with the BIN PWD1 have only printable characters and there are no problem, but the second with control characters i don't know how to extract it...
