Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance

I read a book recently, it's the Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance by Robert Pirsig. It's mainly a philosophical novel about the metaphysics of Values, but I think it's much related to hacking. He speaks much about motorcycle maintenance, in which he pretty much defines the hacker archetype. The impact of technology on human societies also gets main focus in the novel. I recommend it to everyone!

I remember glancing at that one a long time ago when I was obsessed with eastern philosophy. I never did get around to reading it, though. Might have to bump it up my list. Thanks.

In fact, the book is mainly about western philosophies, but it's worth reading it anyway.
