Daemon-Daniel Suarez

First off, this is my first post on HTS and forgive me if anything isn't correct!
I'm also not sure if this is in the right place, as the book is fiction-not a guide to anything.

I was wondering if anyone has read the book 'Daemon' by Daniel Suarez?
Its a techno thriller, in the same vein as a Michael Crichton book, but with more emphasis on networking.
Without revealing too much, the antagonist releases a daemon upon his death, that's goal is more or less world domination, and the abolition of nation states. The author has a computer science background, and knows what he's talking about.
A large portion of the book revolves around hacking, and I was surprised when I couldn't find any mention of it in the forums.
Its a fantastic read and I wholeheartedly recommend it.

Love the book, read it twice. The sequel, Freedom is not as good. Now I am thinking I should have picked The Burning Man as a user name.
