I haven't read it yet, but I will in the near future. Cory Docorow was the one who introduced CC licence to me. So that's a good point :)

Just finished it a minute ago.

I have to say, this is one of the best stories I've read. Easily in my top-ten. There were times when I felt the same emotions as the characters in the book. Any writer who can do that clearly is doing something right.

Anyone considering reading this: Do it.
Assume that everything I say is or could be a lie.

This is a great book. I am maybe a quarter of the way through it. I have a feeling I might be neglecting some of my other responsibilities until I finish it

I think there are already several Linux distros out there that are especially designed to defeat surveillance.

Okay I finised it a couple of hours ago and stayed up some more rebuilding old machines that I had been meaning to get to. I am only now feeling tired. School starts in a few hours

Great analogy
The Man was always coming down on me, just because I go through school firewalls like wet kleenex......

Downloaded the audio-book version a little while ago, absolutely fantastic. It is definitely one of my favorite books so far and I can't wait to finish it. It is really neat to have some fiction that is realistic to current hacker society- plus I can relate to a lot of the characters.
We did not invent the algorithm.
The algorithm consistently finds Jesus.
The algorithm killed Jeeves.
The algorithm is banned in China.
The algorithm is from Jersey.
The algorithm constantly finds Jesus.
This is not the algorithm. This is close.

I downloaded the audiobook, but the voice of the reader was nothing like the teen would have sounded, so i just read the pdf:P
