I don't know if anyone's brought it up or not, but I've found that a great resources for software engineering publications is through ACM or IEEE. If you are a student, you can get a discount on registering and get access to many articles. You can find a great multitude of articles on security with examples.

In my case, I actually get free access as a student :) .
Just wanted to bring this point up since it offers a different flavor than published books. Anyone else know any digital libraries with security articles?

One of my uni lectureres was talking about these kinds of organisations. I'm thinking if your in the industry it's probably worth looking into. Gonna check it out
