Cannot connect to hackthissite

Every time I try to connect to irc.hackthissite.org, I am met with this error:

The problem is, though, when I go to that link to check my IP address, it is not listed in the CBL abuse database. It was on there at some point, but is now removed from its listing. I was hoping if the server administrators could help me resolve this issue.

Try using xchat or mIRC. They are very easy to set up. Or you can connect from our main page.

It doesn't matter what client I use - xchat, mIRC, Chatzilla, or even the Java mibbit client. It says I am zlined; I cannot connect unless it is manually removed. This isn't a client issue, it's a server issue.

Edit: mIRC is my default IRC client.

I'm having issues connecting as well, it's not giving me any particular reason, just auto disconnect/reconnects until it throttles.

I had this issue at one point and even though my ip wasn't listed I still put in a request that it be removed. Within a short time period I was able to connect.
If you still have issues, you may want to contact one of the irc admins found on HTS's staff page and see if they can help. I believe they can remove the 'Z:line'...

thats using port 6667, you need to use port 7000 AND ssl connection
