"The plan doesn't involve shutting down or attacking the Internet in any way, it just wants all websites to go dark in protest for 24 hours on Monday."

Without having a clear definition of what they mean by "blackout" I had to vote no.

Blacking out the website won't stop CISPA.

It may not stop CISPA, but what could it hurt?

I'm undecided. Probably at least a banner to bring attention to it

Personally, I don't think it will do anything. I voted for a banner, just cause it doesn't hurt.

However, CISPA will know that this is just a one day event just by quick research. They will also probably be smart enough to know that websites will not stay inactive if CISPA does get passed. Websites are not going to just give up their site forever if CISPA makes it, it's not going to work.

Also, Kage you put the title as CIPSA instead of CISPA

If you're going to do a banner, why not now? The idea is to gather attention, might as well do it as soon as possible. I have nothing against a complete blackout.

Ok, partial blackout it is. I tossed a banner at the top of the main site. It's inescapable, but all you gotta do is scroll down more.

Thanks for the participation, guys!

Son of a fuck... Fixed, thanks.
