You guys take your squabble to another thread or I'm going to start firing out warnings, it's derailing the topic. The only reason I haven't locked it already is for those with questions about the position can still ask.

To address a couple concerns. Don't let the official write-up scare you away. This is not a task that will require insane hours. We want to keep things clear, concise, simple, and sexy. My old releases were sort of a test run so you may refer to those if you would like to get a general idea where we are going with this. Except I want to expand on what I had started before a little bit.

There have already been a couple of applicants contact me and submit a work sample already. I expect we will begin interviews next week. So if you are interested PM me (or mShred) soon!

Hey,
How experienced do you have to be to be able to do this, and does it require a lot of knowlage of hacking?

I'm no writer, but wouldn't it be easier to write a script that automatically gets the most talked about information from known websites and converts it?

The downside to this is you might get a lot of false positives. Articles that are just being viewed A LOT but really are just a bunch of bs. Also, there are lot of topics/events that get overshadowed by other world news that really should get some additional attention. A human approach is needed when digging these up.

"The downside to this is that you will get a lot of false positives." <-- fixed
Also, a human approach should be used to draw people into conversation.
The use of a bot (depending on the setup) could also be looked at as spam, or even tricked into spamming the forums.

I know this stuff shouldn't require much time, so I might submit a request sometime.
You guys (admins/mods) should know by now how I compose most of my messages.
