Learning Penetration Testing

Hey everyone I am new to the forum and signed up because I am very intrigued by hacking and would love to learn as much as possible. I was wondering if anyone could suggest any beginner penetrating testing books or any sites that I can learn the bare basics of how one would hack or start to hack. I don't know much and am pretty frustrated at the idea. Every time I seem to pick up any book it seems too advanced. I know basics of java and python but that's as far as my computer knowledge goes. Any help would be appreciated guys, thanks.

Look through the Books sub-forum here, you will find, just as i did once (and still do sometimes), several very useful books on hacking and programming.
