ok so iv been working on this so a few days now. iv tried ********** and other variations of that but i cannot execute the command that way. i haven't even been able to get the list what else can i try

stuck! im trying to use same commands as in previous mission.. but i keep getting a message that says i cant do that 4 security reasons.... thats no fair! dos any1 no any alternate commands?

Ok, i am going to post something here! firstly if you read the description it mentions SSI (server side includes) if you type this in GOOGLE you will get a lot of help. if you completed the previous mission (7) then you know what your are looking for. OH and when you kick youself make sure to dedicate it to me!

I can get the listing of the files... I try just about every SSI command I know.. even re-read the hint of "Where you are and where the pass is" since the location is given, but the commands to get there won't allow me to do it. I am just not getting this... every other command I use gives me the "Please change your code for this level" type error... What am I missing?

Actually your code might be right, but HTS had to make their site a bit more secure, so you must add an extra charater to your code. Think, where should it fit, and what might it be, that doesn't change the code.

You need to know, how to Execute Commands with SSI and what's the command, that shows the contents of a (one level up) folder.

OMG!!! I was worked on this for about an hour before getting it right. I was WAYYY overthinking it.

HINT: You don't have to "ls" the whole address that it gives you or you will get the permissions error.
