You can do it by just pick up the language that you like and learn it about ascii code,
i think it takes no morethan one day to understand the bacics and then you will get the idea to solve this problem.
and if you don't know how to start, just use google search for it.

I'm having the same problem as separ_ation. I was given 77938k87 and I decrypted it to xxxxxxxx but it says that its wrong.
So i kept on trying to get other variations but nothing comes close to what i got....
