One way of completing this is using javascript. The mission states that 'Sam' is emailing the password to himself so looking through the source code, do you see something useful that may apply to this?
By typing javascript in the url you can view or change different parts of the source with 'alert' and 'void'.
If you've found the 'something useful' part of the source code- you see that it's in one of the forms and maybe using javascript to change that is one way to go.

I got the pass but I didnt write a form or change anything? I think i did it wrong. I'm trying to learn html and css etc.. right now so if someone could PM the details of how i was supposed to do this and how it works i'd appreciate it. I'm gonna go look over it some more see if i can find out what i was supposed to do.

edit : I'll edit if i get it... K i got it.. i think ... we dont actually need an email right?

Can anyone explain w/o using a spoiler WHY you don't need an actual email? If it were a real-life situation would it work the same way or is it just for this exercise?

(I already solved the challenge, I'm not looking for clues)

I can't figure out how to post a new reply... anyway.

Mission 4 seemed easy.

However, upon hitting the "send" button the screen immediately took me to the "you are not logged in" screen. After attempting to log in, the screen says that my account information was not found on the server. Upon hitting the "back" button, it immediately shows me the password of the site.

I found this odd, since it was supposed to send me the email, but I got the password in a rather unorthodox way. Has anyone else experienced this?

Yes, it doesn't actually send you the email. You ended up getting the pass so don't bother trying to figure out the actual coding of the challenge...
