Jonathan Zdziarski is better known as the hacker "NerveGas" in the iPhone development community. He has created a set of tools capable of bypassing the iPhone password screen as well as recovering deleted information.

Unfortunately he only gives access to law enforcement, does anyone have these tools? please leave a reply or PM me..

a step by step guide would also be useful ha, but I'd settle for just the tools

iOS 3.X includes functionality to circumvent the passcode lock and remove the backup password
iOS 4 and 5 includes functionality to brute force the PIN lock, decrypt keychain passwords, decrypt raw disk and datastore files (Mail, app data, etc), and decrypt the backup password
