this is very true. while i do find it useful sometimes to discuss a topic with those who agree with me, some people just agree for the sake of agreeing, and don't have any constructive thoughts to offer
(not all individuals). different points of view are always invaluable in making progress towards a higher understanding of things.
diversity (in my opinion) generates a stronger foundation for survival of ones opinion... especially if it can survive the internets asking those tough questions about it.
