religious debate is quite useful as both an insight into peoples understanding/opinions of the unknown, as well as a look into what makes people tick.... hmmm yes.

It's also good to hear about both sides of a debate instead of just listening to people who agree with you. That's why I actively seek out non-believers to discuss things with.

this is very true. while i do find it useful sometimes to discuss a topic with those who agree with me, some people just agree for the sake of agreeing, and don't have any constructive thoughts to offer(not all individuals). different points of view are always invaluable in making progress towards a higher understanding of things.



diversity (in my opinion) generates a stronger foundation for survival of ones opinion... especially if it can survive the internets asking those tough questions about it.

Yeah, it doesn't really make much sense. But its here and so we'll use it.

There probably is a forum somewhere on the net for discussing religious issues. I should probably go find it.
