Science fiction theories about universe

Please post your theories too.

Theory #1
Everyone knows the theory about Big Bang http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Big_Bang, where everything started from point 0. Scientists have calculated our universe age, it's about 13.73 ± 0.12 billion years. Sadly fact knowing that we can't see anything further than 13.73 ± 0.12 billion * light-year, unless time travelling is possible ;) Our universe is growing, some of you guys think that one day it will stop growing and will go back to that point 0. The paradox is that C (speed of light) is increasing http://www.speed-light.info/, and that increase is explained with "Dark Matter". What if someone created dark matter with the purpose to avoid getting back to the point 0? What if there is "predestination paradox" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Predestination_paradox in this theory. Maybe dark energy was created by human race or something who evolved from us?

Theory #2
Fractal universe.
http://flowtv.org/wp-content/uploads/20 ... ractal.jpg
http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid ... 2463920970
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fractal
What if our universe is based on fractals?
There is no beginning and there is no end. Our univese size is infinity, Everything may start from any point and repeat over and over again. Every matter is just another universe.

Theory #3
Our universe is getting older, just like a living being, what if the universe is under the same natural selection laws as we are (trying to survive) what if that's why it created intelligence, living beings who evolves and keeps it alive? Is it not the same as to create nano robots with artificial intelligence who keeps you alive? Maybe it is our purpose?

I like theory 1, Ive seen documentaries on dark matter and dark energy and study abit of astro physics. To me it makes the most sense about dark matter holding our universe together and then consuming us all in about 50 billion years. Dark energy seems to just push everything away from the center and eventually push us so far that we wont see any stars or anything and we will freeze.
Looking forward to looking deeper into theory 2 and 3.
Im off, last year of school and all, I had something longer but char limit fucked that up. So yeah, had a good run here. Thanks for the memories. Thanks to the staff and users.

godofcereal, interresting.
Dark matter is invisible and it has mass. You know what kind of objects in the universe are the same? Yap, that's right, black holes. We all are travelling to the one big black hole. That's another sad statement. So the time has the end? Our universe is doomed? Hmmm.

Yeah its a horrifing thought of the universe ending in some horid way. Scientists have estimated 50 billion years left to either the big chill or the collapse of the universe.

as long as we are in the universe we are safe, we need to find a place where dark matter gravitation forces are equal, i hope that place is not occupied by just another black hole

You have th remember you and I need not worry too much about this since we will not live to see it happening not for another several hundred thousand generations to come.

well ya, we do have enough time to complete some of HTS missions, with the exception of stego 15 and app 18 (has been lost already in black hole)

Can't be bothered for the missions anymore except real 14.

On topic:
I dislike the theory of dark energy pushing us away since we have barely any evidence to it actually being real. Although my friend on the other hand feels the same towards dark matter so we have the usual arguement about it.

dark energy is a fact, none of the scientists argues about that.

I know that its real but unlike dark matter we just cant see it. Even though we cant see dark matter we know that it bends light towards us so we can see stars many many lights years away. But he has to prove it to me ;).
