in response to TravisAlan

there is no proof of God except to the ones who already believe 100% then GOD proves himself to them

if you have 14% believe in GOD
GOD will give you 14% Proof

and when you believe 87% GOD will give you 87% proof
the code for the void exception between the ear brackets
Code: Select all
public static }void(exception x = new exception(null)){

ok my brackets dont realy look like ears.
if you didnt get that it means there is nothing(no brains) between your ears.

I didn't know god was so adept at mathematics (and why do you keep saying GOD? There's no need to shout!)

Anyways, I gave god -100% belief and he PROVED he didn't exist.

So beat that: god himself proved to me that he did not exist.

And to Faazshift -- Jesus died for our sins. If you don't sin enough, he will have died in vain.

Thats a paradox... fail!!!!

Actually he atoned so that we have the ability to repent. With the exception of Christ, nobody has lived a perfect life. We all make our mistakes. Christ allows us to repent of our sins but in no way condones sin. If we don't repent of our sins and accept Christs atonement, we will be held accountable for them ourselves. He died to make men whole, not to cause more sin.

Yes, I was completely serious about that. But hey, if god is always right and all-knowing, then he must not exist!

Concerning the disproof of the world being flat, in the old testament, the earth is referred to as being round. This was according to scientific studies, approximately 2000 years before that knowledge was available. Just going by the scientific community...

According to them, the earth is also 6,000 years old.

I was actually going by the scientific communities take on how long ago that part of the old testament was written. They based it on geographical regions, dialect, and archeology.

you could not have believed in GOD 100% to start out with

cause faith is the ability to believe in something without proof and without being crazy
so GOD starts you with say 1%faith and then He proves himself 1%
next you now have 1% faith more because of that
so you believe 2% and GOD proves himself 2%
now you have 4% belief
and it keeps on going

but you have to choose to believe in that 1%

but if you dont your faith becomes less that 1% and it keep dwindling
and then aventualy you have 0(ZERO)

and p.s.
GOD

Code: Select all
public static }void(exception x = new exception(null)){

You're completely evading my statement. The bible has been consistently wrong.

Holy crap, stop with the red. My eyes hurt.

I didn't know that god matched belief for proof. Thank you for enlightening me.

So...if I am at -100% belief, how can I get back? After all, god has proved to me he doesn't exist. I don't just not believe in god. I believe he does not exist.

P.S. See how annoying that is?

P.P.S. I think you read incorrectly. I have -100% belief, not 100% belief.

P.P.P.S It's spelled 'eventually'.

First off, I don't debate that earth could be pretty old, I just believe that man has only inhabited earth for somewhere around 6,000-ish years so far.

With the whole faith thing, my stance is that you have to have faith in the Lord to gain a testimony that he exists. Its not tangible or certain proof, but personal proof, as I have mentioned elsewhere on the forums. Its something someone has to gain for themselves.

PS. Contention is never going to convince anyone of anything, so lets try not to make this debate heated.
