I suppose before I describe a string to you, we should clarify exactly which string theory we are referring to here. I believe string theory provides a most elegant model for describing our Universe within the realm of quantum physics.

I know I'm christian but at the same time i believe in hardcore science, i don't like to mix the two because it's always just a huge battle inside me. What about you though, are you agnostic or atheist?

So you recognize that they conflict on many points, and yet you seriously entertain the idea that religion might have the upper hand, truth wise. If you can provide an example of an issue you find debatable (not creation/evolution, please, it's been done to death here), I'd like to hear it. I'm hoping for another issue where there's hard science to back one position, scripture to back the opposing view and something you find debatable either way.

How people can doubt science books containing facts derived from repeatable, verifiable experiments and those conjectures derived from such on the basis of having a book written some thousands of years ago by, for all we know, a raving lunatic is beyond me.
