Galileo wasn't sent to jail, he was put under house arrest. And no, it wasn't right to put him under house arrest for the rest of his life. But the reason he was put there wasn't his scientific views, it was his personal insult to the pope.

Adding to that I say that alot of Americans are convinced that Jesus was American, they voted him no.1 American ever. So yeah I think Il count the days and the bible says it aswell.
Leviticus 20:13 - Kill gays
Exodus 35:2 - Kill anyone who works on Sunday
Deuteronomy 17:1-5 - Kill any who do not believe in God or who worship another god
Deuteronomy 21:18-21 - Kill children who do not listen to their parents
Deuteronomy 22:20-21 - Kill all women who have sex before marriage.

It's strange when they say that sunday is weekend, when by calendar it should be beggining of the week.

I am not an expert, but I have always thought that modern calendars were built around religion. Using that logic, Sunday really should be the end of the week in calendars. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
Also, my weeks start on Monday because I say so =P

Since we are talking about the Holy Bible and since there are references in this topic to the Old Testament it would only make sense that we should look to Judaism for the Seventh day of the week or "Sabbath" day. The Jewish Sabbath day of rest, called Shabbat in Hebrew, begins on Friday evening and ends on Saturday evening.
There are no references to 'Sunday' in the bible, just the seventh day or 'Sabbath' day so maybe you should read your bibles a little closer. Also, try reading the New Testament and what Jesus said about the old laws. Jews were bound by The Law and had to atone for their sins. We are no longer living under The Law, but under grace.
Who could possibly think Jesus is American? America wasn't a nation 2000 years ago and the Bible clearly says hes a jew, born in Bethlehem, Israel.
