Technically yes, BUT there is something to take note. There is such a thing as repenting to God just to sin again. It would not be true repentance; thus, you are not saved at all in the first place. You would go around sinning thinking you are saved while all the while your not/

Look here's the deal: this argument will go on forever-I do believe that God exists, but I can't explain how I know this. Its just a feeling. Those who say that they don't believe in God or that there is no way there can be a God, have fun thinking that I'm not calling you out.

Who knows whats going to happen at the end of the world(could be a comet or asteroid, but more than likely something that we fucking do), but I feel much better knowing that whatever happens we all have an opportunity to be with God, and all the loved ones that have died before me. I feel better that I will see my Grandparents again.

And anyone who has a problem with what I believe can fuck right off cause I'm not changing what I think about God for no man.

Probability dictates that there should be god, and under the idea that time is infinite, then inevitability dictates that there must be god. This is because, in an infinite time line of existence, there will come into being the perfect creature. The creature will then continue to exist perpetually. Since an infinite time line of existence means an infinite time before now, then there is and always will be a god. Probability says that any god is likely to not care about others, because such a god would be able to ascend to perfection quicker than one who cares for others.

So I'm an atheist. After all, if god loves us, then he loves me anyway, and if he hates us I'm screwed anyway, and since there are potentially so many incarnations of god that are uncaring, I figure not worshiping any of them will endear him to me more than worshiping some other god.

there was a time about a year and a half ago that i did believe in God religion kept my hopes up. living in an abusive situation it kept me sane. i would submerge myself in books and religion so that i could not be hurt by the things that were said and done to me but once i got out of that situation i was able to think i was even able to learn about the computer and that gave me excess to the world. after i came to terms with who i am i found that i could not just believe in a God only the possibility of one and if i was made by a God that is loving could make me in a way that goes against his very teachings. anyway these are just my thoughts on the subject it's been interesting to read all the different views that people on this site have on this matter.
