One question can the last part clearing the logfiles be done without firebug,with a js injection? If so can som1 pm a link about that type of injection or the string itself. tnx

Anything you do in Firebug, I am pretty sure you can do with JS Injection.

I'm about half way done with realistic 8 but i keep getting stuck when i try to transfer the money. I keep getting a page that says "You have the right idea, but you need to transfer the money to dropCash" Im pretty sure i have the injections down so what could cause this?

Daaammit I just cannot clear my damn logs
I've tried clearing mine, Gary's, dropCash's, SQLFiles, logFiles, through good ol' JS injection, and it keeps telling me that "Files are cleared" but I don't get the "congratz !" usual phrase :/ what am I missing ?

I think I have found the right username and password from the db (out of of all of the thousands of them) but why cant I log in as him ? I can log in as other people from this list so why not him ?

I looked at the cookie when I am logged in as someone but only tells me username password

Do I really need some kind of mad js injection for this ?

HINT: You are not required to login as Him in order to finish the first task. Once you're logged in as anyone, you have to manipulate something so that the server thought that it was the owner who sent the money.

whew. just finished this one, and what a doozie it was. i spent nearly 2 days thinking about this, and in the end it turns out i had added an 's' to 'William', making my money transfers fail miserably. i'm glad to have finished it, as I learned quite a bit. can't wait to start #9.

I haven't read all 25 pages, but I just have to say that I got fooled several times by other users. Probably everyone had those moments...

E.g. I logged in as GaryHunter with the password 'a'... (Got that from the description) For a minute or two I thought, it might be part of the challenge...
If you search for "*" you also find a user, with a nice description...

For the creator of the challenge:
It is "Heinz Rudolf Kunze", but since thats not really part of the challenge, I shut my mouth by now...

Well does the phrase "javascript:void(blah...);" mean anything to you? If so then use that to your knowledge. If not, then back to the basics.
