Well, you don't need to download anything.. Notepad ring a bell? That's all you need.....

Right click the page, click view source, edit to what you want, file->save as->whatever.html in My Documents. Open My Documents folder and then open watever.html -- there you go, without firebug.

use firebug with firefox..... it can help a lot

Hey, I have got a problem with this mission.

When accessing v.php, I get the following error message:

-->Hope you didn't pay too much for that URL.
-->The requested URL /missions/realistic/1/i.php was not found on this server.

Is this part of the challenge or is it broken?

No, that means that http://www.hackthissite.org/missions/realistic/1/i.php doesn't exist.

After you change the page maybe you should take advantage of that change...
I guess you tried changing the review he has written.
That's not the idea, FireBug only changes your copy of the source so that change wouldn't be permanent and seen by other people.

Hint: This mission does not require changing of the source in the sense of changing what is said about the bands, or their positions within the table. What it does require is that you make alterations in the source which allow you to make a significant change in the bands rating.

No browser add-ons are required for this mission; any simple text editor will do. Changing your local copy of the page will not complete the mission however. Your change needs to have a more global affect.

What's the difference between a relative path and an absolute one?

I believe I've figured out what to do, which I won't say here because I don't want to spoil it, but I am getting the error where the i.php page is not being found, so when I submit the information it goes nowhere. I've tried different pages, but all I can seem to find is that "missing" page. Does anyone know if I am doing something wrong, or is the next page actually missing?

A very big hint , you have to exploit the PHP get form system it uses to make the scores , Research php forms and how to change data of them via the url.
