I did, not only that, I was watching it Live on C-SPAN. But then I have to wonder, as a veteran, wouldnt he know what his own peers want?

I'm sure the US Military is much happier without the government paying for the college. Oh wait...
First of all, what possible reason could he have for not voting for such a thing? A college education is the least we owe soldiers. Secondly, just because he was in the military, does that make him an expert or something? There are plenty of ex-military representatives and senators who did vote for it, so explain that.
