What do you guys reckon is the cheapest I could make a PC for and the cheapest I could make a decent PC for?

Ok, I wouldn't mind making a PC but the main problem is cost.
I've taken a look at some component prices and they seem pretty high so..
What do you guys reckon is the cheapest I could make a PC for and the cheapest I could make a decent PC for?

i have bought a few components from newegg.com and their prices are pretty good. id recommend looking into that..
