Fun with Arduino

At the suggestion of an acquaintance, I recently bought an arduino to toy around with. Being as there's no dedicated thread to the matter, thought I'd ask to see who else has messed around with them, what you made with it, etc.

I'm just on the steps of connecting to a potentiometer to read analog signal strength. Regardless, I have to say it's really flippin' cool to write code that interacts with the real world in ways other than a mouse and keyboard!

I've got my hands on an Arduino myself. Probably the coolest thing I've made with it is a small robot that navigates around via a sharp IR ranger. I'd post some pictures of the little guy but he was sacrificed for parts pretty quickly :|

I was thinking about buying an arduino. Just the basic standard one or whatever. No idea what to do with it, but the idea sounds cool.
