Being a gaming PC, I would consider upgrading the GPU to something like a 7850 as you will be able to go a little longer before needing to upgrade.

The second thing I would consider would be upgrading to RAM to 8GB with another 4GB stick. 4GB should be fine for now, but I think in roughly 2 years, it won't be enough for mainstream titles.

Also, unless you have a specific need, I would ditch the blu-ray drive as it costs about $40 more than a regular dvd writer. It will also give you more cash to spend on a GPU.

I do plan on adding more ram eventually after i get the build done, I think I a going to just get a cheap dvd drive and upgrade the graphics card. I do plan on installing ubuntu as my main OS as well. thank you for your help
