What the best to use PHP or ASP.net

i just want to master 1 of them but i don't know what is the best to used in web programming...

I personally only learned PHP because that's what was available to me at the time. There are reasons for and against each language, and you should decide for yourself which is best for you.

Well I enjoy php because it relates to C++ a bit so I found it much easier to work with. Not sure if ASP.net relates to anything though.

PHP XHTML JAVA.
