web host that will not release infromation

Hi, i need to make a website that will hold details of an event. I was going to use a free website host but i wanted one that would not give up infomation if subpeoned or whatever? anybody know of some? THis is not an illegal event or anything of that nature, i could get in trouble for planning it and all and just want to cover my ass.

i imagine that any webhost in the same country you live in would happily oblige a subpoena. try finding a webhost outside your country, or maybe take a look at http://prq.se/ if you're very serious.

If i was to make my pc a server, is there anyway to hide it and like make it so no one could track it down

it depends on what you mean by 'hide'. as a server, anyone is able to find it's ip when they connect (usually) and from there, if they really wanted to, they could find your ISP, and contact them.
