Facebook: Really Pissing Me Off...

So, about a month and a half ago I got locked out of my Facebook account. When I go to log in it reads:

For security reasons your account is temporarily locked
If this account reflects your real name and personal information, please help us verify it.

I went through the whole, "send a picture of your ID" in three times, but still nothing. Then today I Googled: "Facebook Support Number" and got a whole list of these third party "businesses" claiming to be "Facebook Support", and guess what they said?! They'll unlock my account... For anywhere from $100-$400 (called multiple).

WTH... Like, WTF do I go from here?! I thought about making another account, but this one is attached to my only email! Not to mention, it's attached to my band's Facebook "like" page...

FML...

Call the facebook advertising number; Or! Make a new facebook

I would go through whatever process it tells you to go through to unlock it. Even if you have to send your ID in again.

And of course, don't try and use one of the 3rd party sites.

Er... That's one of the ways that facebook makes massive amounts of money. Unless you're being sarcastic/me missing something..

Facebook should have more than one way to verify your account. They wouldn't rely on you sending in an ID, that'd get too out of hand. Try looking around make sure you can't find a different way.

facebook blows, and i don't know why anyone would use it.
