HELP (fire-fox)

Im pretty sure this goes here, I could'ent find any other place for it.
Ok, so I downloaded the lastest vrz of Mozilla Firefox and when I go to open it from the desktop I cannot
it just shows the curser having the loading sign or w\e.

Now I have Internet Explorer, would I have to delete this in order to use Firefox? And if so could somone give the directions on how exacly to do so.

You can't really delete IE as it's part of windows. Also when you install Firefox there is a button/tick what ever it was saying "Do you want this as your first browser". Something along those lines.
