Hello everyone, I am new here and I read on many articles that this particular forum is a very nice community and with great knowledge on hacking :). I need help with learning how to hack websites. Yes, I do have a particular site on my mind and I have checked some vulnerabilities. I'd like to learn how I can make use of any vulnerabilities. Thank you in advance :)

I have a few things for you to read up on.

*ahem*

XSS, CSRF, SQL, PHP (including Register Globals)/HTTP (throw javascript in too, why the fuck not), Metasploit (uploading a payload to a website, running it, waiting for reverse TCP load, etc.) That's just to start, there's still a shitload more you need to look into.

I'm a firm believer that one of the best ways to learn web hacking and common vulnerabilities is to try to set up your own website. You'll learn HTML/CSS (bones of websites), PHP/MySQL/JavaScript (more on the exploited side of things), and more.

Thank you guys!Well I think that I got a pretty good knowledge of HTML and CSS. For getting to the point to be able to exploit SSL vulnerabilities which is the fastest way?

That's a pretty complicated task.
Why don't you focus on exploiting shittily coded PHP? Or something more reasonable.

You might want to take a look at HTS missions as well, if you haven't already.

Also, I think an easy route to take while learning is trying to exploit JavaScript code.
If you want to learn something new and break it easily, JavaScript is a good choice.

JavaScript y u so evil!!
If you're not willing to learn, no one can help you. If you're determined to learn, no one can stop you.⠠⠵

I can explain it for you, but I can't understand it for you.
