(merged)Hi all,
I am trying to work through the GCQH Can you Find It challenge. I have completed one, but two I'm having a little trouble. A simple google search and I've found the answer, but this is missing the point! I want to do it, and understand what I'm doing...
So those who haven't done it, look away now *SPOILER ALERT*

On Challenge two, I am given a private key to download. I understand this contains several parts, including the private key, and modulus.
I have extracted the parts using openssl, and now have several parts in hex. What I need to do it convert to ASCII (According to a site) and see letters appear.
My first question is, how did they know to convert to ASCII? Is this a standard task to see the passcode? Is this because one of the primes is larger then the other?
My second q is, how do I convert to ascii? I was given a site, but I wanted to find a tool \ method I could use, but ended up using the site without any luck!
I have read up on RSA public & private keys, but still not getting it
