say its hosted on a pc not a sever can you do stuff like ../../Downloads ../../Documents?

../ or just .. is equivelant to going up a directory so if typing 'pwd' gives you something like
/home/pretentious/Downloads/file
typing cd ../../Downloads will give you the Download folder because you have gone up 2 directories, into your home directory and then down into the Downloads directory
Pretty sure it works the same way for any system
