I am a newbie at computer languages, and like all newbies, am trying to figure out how to start off. I believe a good language to start off with would be Java, so i was wondering if anyone knew some good websites that have tutorials or things like that. Also i was wondering if there is a really good compiler for Java out there that most people use, or is it just preference?
int foo + int bar = int baz

I would also recommended you download eclipse as an IDE but that's just personal preference.
I don't know of any specific websites for tutorials but Java appears extensively documented so just Google and you should find heaps
