I'm looking for, or want to program, a security script for my computer. When I boot it up, I want it to ask a random question, and give an input for an answer. If the answer is right, it continues to boot, if not, it shuts down.
Anyone know where I would start to make something like this?

Do you use windows or linux?
A perl script would be fine if you use Linux.
Anyways, I think a bios password would be be safer...

I use both -- I was thinking of putting it before GRUB runs, if possible...just pointing in a direction to start would be a great help.

I suggest both a bios password and grub password. Both different obviousally. Bios password's are easy to reset so you wouldn't want to rely strictly on that.
