Even had a few teachers embarrass the hell out of other students who were mocking me. I remember, and I quote, "Why is he a nerd and a geek? Because he figured out a problem in 10 minutes that none of you could get the answer for?" Love that teacher.
Now being a nerd or a geek is considered cool. So wish that was the case when I was in school.
People (including my parents) said I was F***ing annoying because I would always ask questions about things to learn. I just had a desire to learn everything I could.
That being said I remember when I was in Middle school, my dad owned a 286 computer, and I was running Warcraft II on it. He told me he didn't want me to game on it, so if I could figure out the password to get on his computer, then he will stop bothering me.
He had windows 3.1 where you can hit Escape, and have full access to a computer.
