The first one is half baked and the second was unbearable...

I just took a quick look at both videos. Now first off, we're not the youtube community, they would give you much better feedback than us.

I know the style you were trying to emulate in terms of words popping up as you speak, but you slightly messed it up. Most words should have a clearn big font and be nice and large for the user to see, you should change font color and size dramatically only when there is a significant word such as "The man was hands were the color of blood. But the main mistake that you did, is that you dragged it out way to much, it's as if you struggle with every word. Talk at normal or even slightly faster than normal speeds and animate the letters to go along with it.

And trust me, it's not that bad. I've seen all sorts of crap videos.
