Hmm, not sure if same person but... instead of locking this right out I want to leave a little something. I personally hate adfly, because of forcing even more ads on people. Like we don't see enough everyday. Plus 1000 hits only = $4. Say hello to spam bots and all other manner of the black arts.

http://tinyurl.com/, will also shorten links without the ads. If you are just into that sort of thing. But, there is a way to reverse the process which is great info if you think some malicious intent is at play. This can be done here: http://longurl.org/

I have not been able to find a link to a site that effectively reverses ad.fly. There are some programs out there though. Might be a good coding project for someone who wants a challenge.


One last thing because I think it might come up. If you are hesitant to ever click on a link for fear that there might be something funny going on. Use Sandboxie to prevent the unwanted download/infection. A great tutorial opens up after installation to get your familiarized with it. Remember though this isn't an anonymity tool so don't go performing some hackery thinking you are in the clear by only using this alone lol.

On the adf.ly page, there's a javascript variable called url, enter that and you will be redirected to the target. It's not even obfuscated or anything.
