Dragon Tattoo

I recently went and saw the David Fincher version of "Girl With the Dragon Tattoo". I have read the series and have seen the original movies. But, I have to say that David Fincher did a excellent job directing the movie. It's crazy that Bjurman (the guy who raped Lisbeth in the film) spent a whole day locked in his room crying his eyes out after filming those scenes. In my own opinion, which may contradict some of yours, I think David Fincher's version is much more better and "dark" than the original. And of course, Rooney Mara did a EXCELLENT job. Hopefully she wins Golden Globe for Best Lead Actress. She deserves it. What do you think?

Haven't seen it.
Crying his eyes out? Elaborate, por favor. I've heard it was a pretty good storyline. But I've never taken the time to look into it.

From what I heard “Yorick van Wageningen was so disturbed after shooting the rape scene with Rooney Mara that he spent a whole day locked in his hotel room, crying.” http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1568346/trivia

The film is a disturbing fick but a great suspense/thriller movie. David Fincher is a excellent Director. I've seen almost all of his movies. haha

I haven't seen the remake but have watched the original trilogy. Highly recommend, great story.
