forum woes

Hey guys,

You know how that if there were new posts on a forum the icons are red, then turn gray once you've read through them? Well, I cannot, for the life of me, seem to get them(some) to turn gray. Even after I've made sure all the posts were read, they still stay red. I know it's really not much of a problem, but it just annoys the hell out of me.

Hope you could shed some light here.

Hmmm...that only happens when I use the back/forward arrows (because pressing the back arrow just loads your cached copy of the page). Have you tried refreshing it?

Yes. Definitely. Short of re-installing Firefox(I don't really see why I should have to do that, though), I've tried everything. I've refreshed countless times, cleared cache, deleted all history, even used CCleaner, logged out, logged back in and it still shows frickin' red. It's driving me nuts. OCD and all.

I noticed this to have happened before but it kinda fixed itself and I didn't really bother with it. Now it's come back to haunt me. sheesh.

You tried it with other browsers to see if the problem happens on other programs as well?

Lawl, I'm having this problem now...but only for global announcements. Weird.

I think global announcements are supposed to stay like that so they stand out. Also get over it! Is it really that important that you have to waste half your life figuring out that its not going to change to gray?

I, Monica, invented points. Some of you are using my point system. Because it is not open source, -10 for you all.

+Infinity for me.
